Global AI hackathon
Production decisions, deliverables and public evidence
01 / Scope
Lead producer, from initiation through execution
I authored the concept proposal that led to Call for Code AI: United Against Trafficking, a global initiative hosted by Austin AI Hub and presented by Call for Code AI and UN Human Rights. I developed the proposal’s hybrid format, technical and creative tracks, event timing, and mentorship pathway, then worked with partners to refine the program and public messaging.
I led production and built the entire hackathon website. My scope connected program design, partner coordination, outreach, participant communications, judging operations, mentor support and awards-event planning.
02 / Delivery decision
Bring the participant journey into one website
Participants needed a route from understanding the challenge to registration, workshops and submission. The website brings these stages together through challenge tracks, timeline, resources and submission guidance.
The operational blueprint separates submission screening from panel judging and uses a shared support channel for participant questions. These documented choices organize the experience and the work behind it. Their effect on completion rates has not been measured.

05 / Impact
Program scale, with clear attribution
The August 2026 report records participation across six continents, 32 judges, more than 400 written evaluations and 10 honored teams. Five teams were selected for a six-month incubator, with the remaining honored teams invited to join.
These figures describe the collective program. My production and website work supported its execution; the evidence does not isolate a numerical effect from my contribution.
